TechVenture Challenge presented by the Vanderbilt Tech Transfer Office & LifeSciTN Academic Alliance

Thursday, April 11, 2013

Online Registration has closed. You may register on-site.

The TechVenture Challenge is a unique opportunity that allows students to develop commercialization strategies for protected Vanderbilt technologies. Six interdisciplinary student teams have spent the last 8 weeks creating business plans with guidance from inventors and business mentors from the community. The TechVenture Challenge culminates in the Final Competition, where each team pitches their business plans to a panel of expert judges. The winning team will receive a small cash prize. We hope that you will attend the competition and learn more about the new Vanderbilt technologies and the developing scientific entrepreneurship at Vanderbilt. This event is free and open to the public. RSVP is politely requested: The TechVenture Challenge is organized by the Vanderbilt Technology Transfer Office and the LifeSciTN Academic Alliance.

Click here to read about the technologies presenting during the final competition on April 11. Thanks to our sponsors: Vanderbilt CTTC, Bradley Arant Boult Cummings, Cools Springs Life Sciences Center, eSpaces, Life Science Tennessee and BRET.

Networking and registration begins at 4pm. Presentations begin promptly at 5pm.
